What's this 'freedom' you speak of?

Hello All!

I managed to write a huge post last week and for some reason it never got posted?? Well, I'll just recap what I posted in a few brief sentences... Khalid el-Masri as seen on the link below was the German man that was 'allegedly' kidnapped by the CIA on the borders of Macedonia. Why this just came out is beyond me. How did I a lowly, poor, college kid find this out almost 6 months prior to the news catching wind of this? Either way the CIA admits to doing operations like the one that happend to el-Masri but neither admit or deny that they did it to him, an innocent man.

Simply put...The blood that stains the Constitution, the wars we fought to actually preserve our freedom...it's being washed clean. The ink is being etched off with each and every thoughtless move to subtract our rights for what? For more 'knowledge' about possible terrorist attacks? I invite anyone to take a look at the knowledge we had before hand and how good that did us. Go ahead and look. Smoke and mirrors blind us from the blatant and brazenfaced tactics of our own government to take away the very rights they say the fight to protect. There were a few people that quoted Benjamin Franklin this week in protest to illegal wire tapping of US citizens. I think they were pretty lenient in their verbage. I'll leave you with the quote and a few other thoughts.
